    ADIB DIRECT is Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank’s NEW Corporate ADIB Direct platform which would replace eADIB platform in a phased approach

    Login and Registration (Migrated Clients)

    How do I register and start using the new ADIB Direct portal ?

    For our existing clients who are already using our current eADIB Portal, we are in process of migrating such customers to our new ADIB Direct portal in a phased approach. You will receive an email from the bank at the time of migration. Further when the customer receives communication, they needs to follow steps as given in attached sheet.

    I am a migrated client, which password should I use on first login to ADIB Direct ?

    On first time login to ADIB Direct, you need to use the existing password of eADIB (existing system)

    I've forgotten my eADIB Login Id. What should I do?

    If you have forgotten your current eADIB Login ID please contact as per below information:

    I've forgotten my eADIB Password. What sould I do?

    If you have forgotten your current eADIB Password, then please navigate to existing eADIB login page and click on “Forgot Password” option and follow the steps. Once you are through with changing your password on eADIB successfully then you can use the same to login ADIB Direct. You would be asked to create your new password for ADIB Direct after two factor authentication process (OTP) which will be sent on your registered Mobile number with ADIB.

    My user id is locked / disabled, what should I do?

    I have received my Login ID on mail, How to access ADIB Direct?

    For new clients who are not presently using current eADIB portal or are new to ADIB, we request them to reach out to their respective RMs or to any of our ADIB Branches to complete one time registration process to access ADIB Direct platform. Additionally the Registration Form may also be downloaded from our website www.adib.ae

    I have forgotten my password and/or security questions what should I do?

    Please reset your password and/or security questions by clicking on the ‘Forgot Password’ option on the login page. Forgot password option is not available through Mobile App.

    What do I do if I don't receive a One Time Password via SMS and/or email on ADIB Direct (eADIB)?

    Security Features

    How can I use the security token device to authorize transaction?

    Your existing security token device will be valid for transaction on the ADIB Direct

    I've lost my security token device, what should I do?

    Please reach out to your respective RM or contact you nearest branch to send a new token issuance request letter to the service team

    Can I use the token device for multiple users?

    As per ADIB security policy we do not allow the security token device to be assigned to more than one user.

    What do I do if I've changed my mobile phone number or email address?

    ADIB always sends notifications on your registered mobile number, including One Time Passwords for use in ADIB Direct. If you would like to change the registered mobile phone number or email address, please obtain and submit an Application form for User Profile Amendment from the nearest branch or your RM mentioning the user id, account number, new mobile number/email address and our related team will update the records accordingly.

    Can I register an overseas phone number to receive my ADIB Direct One Time Password SMS on?

    You can register an overseas mobile number with us, and we’ll send your SMS One Time Password to it. However, your mobile service provider may prevent you from receiving the SMS.

    What security is in place to authenticate transactions on ADIB Direct?

    ADIB Direct uses One Time Passwords (OTPs) as a second level of security to authenticate your transactions at the time of authorization

    During Online Banking Registration or migration > Online Banking’s One Time Password (OTP) is a 6 digit code generated and sent to your registered mobile number or email address. This provides a second level of security when you try to login for the first time.

    During Payment file upload and payment approvals > ADIB provides physical tokens or mobile app soft tokens which generate a 6 digit code each time on demand. These need to be entered in order to proceed with the upload or approval action.

    How much payment transaction history can I see on ADIB Direct web portal and mobile app?

    From the web portal you may also view, search and export the Payment transaction history for the last 6 months while from the Mobile app you can view payment transaction history for the last 6 months

    How much account details / history can I see on ADIB Direct web portal and mobile app

    From the web portal you can view and download your account details / history for the last 5 Years within a date range of 6 Months while the mobile app shows account history for the last 2 months only.

    How many pre-generated estatements are available on ADIB Direct web portal?

    You may download pre-generated estatements for the last 6 months from the web portal. For subscribing to estatements please contact your relationship manager or nearest branch.

    Can I initiate transactions for processing at future value dates?

    Yes, a future value date may be selected on the payment initiation screen for processing on the future value date.

    How do I know that a particular transaction is processed?

    The transaction status will change to 'Processed by Bank' in the account summary widget.

    What are the different charge types when I make a domestic or international payment?

    SHA charges ADIB charges for the transfer are debited from your account. Correspondent bank and/or beneficiary bank charges, if any, will be deducted from the amount that the beneficiary receives.

    OUR charges You will bear all charges. Fee for both ADIB and Correspondent bank and/or beneficiary bank will be debited from your account. The beneficiary will receive the full amount of the transfer.

    BEN charges Beneficiary will bear all charges. Fee for both ADIB and Correspondent bank and/or beneficiary bank will be debited from the beneficiary and he will receive the deducted amount.

    Can I create bulk payment for domestic and International Payments?

    Yes, you can create bulk payment upload files and salary upload file as well.

    Are the bulk payments uploads secure?

    Yes; the bulk payments is secured with encryption technology (AES 256 protocol). We provide an option on ADIB Direct to download the encryption tool to encrypt the payment transaction files before the upload process. Once the encrypted file is uploaded by the client ADIB Direct will be able to decrypt and process the same at bank end.

    Can I create new users or modify the information of existing users on ADIB Direct?

    With ADIB Direct you don’t need to worry about administration tasks anymore. ADIB Direct Just visit the nearest branch in order to fill and sign a request form for adding or amending any existing setup information or access right. All such requests will need to be signed by authorized signatories of the company.

    How can I setup payment approval workflow to delegate my accountant to prepare the transactions, then to be approved by me?

    With ADIB Direct you don’t need to worry about administration tasks anymore. Just visit the nearest branch in order to fill and sign a request form for adding or amending any existing setup information or payment approval workflow. All such requests will need to be signed by authorized signatories of the company.

    Beneficiary Maintenance

    How do I create a beneficiary for a payment in Online Banking?

    You can create a beneficiary while initiating a payment by saving the beneficiary information for future use. Beneficiary may also be created from the Add Beneficiary option on the Account Services tab

    Can I create new beneficiary using mobile app?

    Beneficiaries may only be created using the web portal

    Can I upload my beneficiaries CSV file list to online access directly and save the details?

    Yes with ADIB Direct, you can upload the beneficiaries list which may be used to initiate transactions later

    Does the beneficiary addition on ADIB Direct need further approval by ADIB?

    No approval is required from ADIB; once the beneficiary is created by the initiator it would need approval by client authorized signatory.
